Built under Spanish rule in the mid-1500s to protect the island from invaders, Fortaleza San Felipe is Puerto Plata’s only remaining structure from that period.
What is included in the price of our BachaTour! North coast?
**2 hours of daily workshops with the TOP Instructors in the Dominican Republic and our own Director, Cassandra de Mercedes
**Transportation to and from hotel to workshop, afternoon and
evening event and concert locations
(Airport Transport is separate.)
**Afternoon events to include a special beach trip,
local shopping, sightseeing, dancing in the local colmados (little convenience stores that are fully equipped with the locally brewed and world famous Presidente beer or Brugal, the locally made Rum and hefty sound systems waiting to share with you the rhythms of Bachata, Merengue and Tipico as you make 'a run to the store'.
Your visit will quickly become much more than a simple
'run to the store' as you dance with locals enjoying their game of Dominoes and their Presidente!
**Evening outings and club entry to test out your skills and
dance in some of the world famous Dominican clubs in
Puerto Plata with the locals!

What is NOT included in the price of our BachaTour! North coast?
**Airfare, Hotel, Transportation to and from the Puerto Plata airport
(POP) transportation is offered for $40 per person each way if you are alone, $35 per person if 2 or more people are going to or from the airport and from Cibao International Airport which is the airport in Santiago (STI) for $80 per person if you are alone and $75 per person if there are 2 or more people going to or from the airport ,

It is highly recommended that you book your airfare utilizing sites like Orbitz, Hotwire, Travelocity etc. Accomodations should be booked using our personal representative, indira de le Cruz at Infiniti Blu.
Recommended Hotels
We are requesting that you please stay with us at the beautiful Infiniti Blu so that we are all in the same hotel. These are beautiful 2 or 3 bedroom / 2.5 bath vacation apartments that can be shared, making our trip more economical.
Workshops, our Wine & Cheese Welcome party and our pool party will all be at this location. All transportation to and from other events will only be offered from Infiniti Blu.

Cayo Arena & The Mangroves!
We will be heading out bright and early on our scheduled day trip to Cayo Arena and the Mangroves, a tiny island just off the coast of Puerto Plata Dominican Republic! A turquoise paradise surrounded by stunnning coral reefs, it's known for mangroves and coral reefs and white sand beaches. The island’s shallow waters are home to hundredes of different varieties of fish, that you can see when snorkling.
Our workshops for Thursday will take place on either the catamaran on our way to the island or on the BEACH!
(OR BOTH)
What is included in our day trip to Cayo arena?
Pretty much everything but your sunscreen and your flip flops!
Transportation to and from the Catamaran docks (even THIS will be an adventure!), Beverages (Water, Sodas & Beer) , full Dominican Lunch on the Island (As YUMMY as it gets except for Papi's cooking!), lounging chairs are already on the beach, We WILL be dancing on the catamaran AND the Beach!
Our Cayo Arena day trip is a special addition to our
BachaTour! with Baila con Pasión and is NOT included in the cost of the BachaTour! with Baila con Pasión therefore you MUST register for the Cayo Arena day trip here.
